Patty, what WONDERFUL news! I'm just tickled for your family...for BOTH pieces of news.

We've been doing Ramsey and we're working toward debt-free family slowly, but surely. Hearing your news is inspirational. Thanks so much for posting it!

LOL @ Maxine. Glad you clarified. Heehee.

xoxo,

~Shaye

Patty,
Congratulations on both counts! We are also moving slowly but surely towards being free of debt. I want that bumper sticker from Dave Ramsey that says, "Debt is normal, be weird."

WooHoo!!!!
Great job on becoming Debt free - what a way to live!

And Congratulations on another baby!!!

You really hid this one good - Even with Lenetta's hint - I came over here looking for it and finally gave up and figured Lenetta was just trying to get people over to the forum! Cool

I don't know if this will inspire anyone, but I think the babies are easier to come by. Laughing I think we worked on the debt for three years. As you all know, babies only take nine months.

We even took a sabbatical while you were all galavanting around Lincoln last week. We had originally intended to withdraw cash before we left but missed that one on the to-do list, so we debited soooo cautiously! As a result, we came home with almost a third of our trip money left! Isn't it great trying to decide what to do with "extra" money?? Ahh... who am I kidding? It'll just go toward the birth. Smile

(Totally unrelated, but I think a few of you could relate - You should have seen my husband's eyes bug-out when we went out to eat at a restaurant called "Moosejaw". The bill came to more than $70! It was so great knowing that we had saved up the money ahead of time, budgeted all of our meals, and camping cost a total of $233 for a week of lodging!)
